Limits and risks you must know

Every AI user should know four common problems.

1. Made-up answers (hallucinations)

AI can invent facts, people, numbers and even references that look real. If an answer matters, verify it.

2. Bias

AI learns from human-written data, so it can repeat stereotypes or one-sided views. Ask for other perspectives and think critically.

3. Privacy

Anything you paste may be stored by the service. Do not share passwords, ID numbers, other people’s personal details or confidential documents.

4. Over-reliance

If AI does all the thinking, you stop learning. Use it to support your work, not to replace your effort.

Simple rule: the more important the decision, the more you should check AI’s answer with a trusted source or a person.
